Iwo Borkowicz
Founder and head of JEJU.studio, working across a broad spectrum of spatial practices—from installations and sculpture to houses, interiors, and public buildings. Recipient of the Honorary Award at Construma (2025, Barcelona) and the Greater Poland Voivodeship Architectural Award for the construction of a school in a refugee camp in Western Tanzania. In 2016, he received the Young Talent Architecture Award, presented by the Fundació Mies van der Rohe, as well as the EAAE Prize. In 2017, Iwo was named one of the “20 young designers shaping the future of design worldwide” by Design Indaba, World Design Events, and Dutch Design Week.
