Dr. Sergio Doldi is Technical Director for Adhesives & Coatings for Flexible Packaging at COIM S.p.A., an international chemical company headquartered in Italy and specialized in polyurethanes and polyesters.
With a degree in Chemistry from the University of Milan, he brings over 30 years of experience at COIM, where he has held senior R&D and technical leadership roles. He currently leads international teams of researchers and application specialists based in Italy and Germany, drawing on deep expertise in polyurethane chemistry, formulation, and regulatory compliance.
Dr. Doldi is strongly engaged in the evolution of sustainable flexible packaging, with a particular focus on recyclability and the interaction of adhesives and coatings with next-generation packaging materials. He actively contributes to industry working groups within FEICA, RecyClass, and CEFLEX, supporting the development of harmonized sustainability and recycling frameworks.
