Ariane de Bellefroid
Ariane is a senior public affairs professional with over 12 years of experience at the intersection of EU policy, sustainability and stakeholder engagement. Before joining Chorus Public Affairs as Executive Director, she spent a decade at Landmark and Edelman—two leading public affairs and communication agencies—leading high-impact advocacy campaigns on a wide range of policies, specializing on sustainability related issues, ranging from human rights and responsible business conduct to circular economy, renewable energy, and deforestation. Over the past seven years, she has worked with a number of brand owners and converters on EU and Member States laws related to packaging.
Her professional journey began with an international focus, serving as the EU–China Project Manager at the Madariaga–College of Europe Foundation. This early chapter also included a role at the European Commission and academic research into the complex dynamics of EU–China–Africa relations, giving her a global perspective she carries to this day. A Belgian national, she is fluent in French, English, and Spanish, and has a working knowledge of Dutch.
